The Israelites were slaves in Egypt and they dwelt in the land of Goshen. God had promised to bring them out of Egypt with a mighty hand, so He sent Moses to undertake that almost impossible task. The tyrant ruler Pharoah wasn’t going to let them go easily, so God brought several kinds of plagues upon Egypt to prove His point. But the people of Israel were supernaturally shielded by God from those evil plagues. That is powerful!
The experience of the Israelites in the land of Egypt has a great message to impart to us today. That experience was simply a shadow of things to come. God had better things in store for His people. What they experienced was a shadow, but today, as children of God, we have the substance. Today God doesn’t protect His people plagues or epidemics, He also protects His people from evil schemings and machinations of the enemy. He protects His people from everything that is evil. But God doesn’t just protect His people from evil, He dispels the evil, that is, He scatters it and causes that evil to disappear!
‘The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.’
In the verse above, the scripture states, ‘the LORD is in the midst of thee..thou shalt not see evil anymore..’ Note the phrase, not see; it implies that the evil will not materialize. So even if the enemy intends any evil against you, it will not come to pass, it will not stand! Why? Because the One that dispels evil is inside of you! So you need to have this consciousness, that God is the One that has the ability to scatter anything that’s evil coming at you, He will cause it to be dissipated before it ever gets to you. For you to understand this better, you should picture yourself as being surrounded with an invisible and impenetrable supernatural shield of protection that no evil can penetrate or pass through, because that is exactly how it is.
‘For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.’
‘But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.’
‘Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.’
So God has a shield of protection around you and all that’s yours, and any evil that is intended at you gets scattered because of that shield. You are untouchable, because He that touches you touches the apple of His eyes. You are that important to Him and you should know that and be conscious of it. And understand that He is in you, and is bigger and greater than anything evil that is coming at you. And He will scatter that evil before it will ever get to you.
‘He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.’
In the verse above, the word ‘disappoint’ means to scatter. So God scatters the evil schemings of the crafty or the enemy; He renders their plans null and void before it will ever get fulfilled. So you really don’t have to bother yourself about anyone planning an evil against you, because your God, the Evil Dispeller, is always on your case. And He will scatter their evil schemings before it will ever get executed. Alleluyah! And no wonder God says we should, as much as lie within us, try to be at peace with everyone, and not to render evil for evil. The battle is not yours but the LORD’s!
‘See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.’
‘Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord..’
The Greater One is in you. Be conscious of this. He has a supernatural shield around your life that forbids evil and He will dispel any evil that is targetted at you. The Bible says in Psalm 91:10-11, ‘There shall no evil happen to thee, for He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways.’ The LORD is in the midst of you. You shall not see evil anymore in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen.
You are untouchable because he that touches you touches the apple of God’s eyes.
